Renaissance Hotel Aruba manages the private island on the reef where flamingo beach is located. The only way in and out is by booking through the hotel. The boat ride back and forward and a one day stay will cost you $125 (if you're not staying at the hotel). However, you can also schedule a massage that will cost about $155, but now your $125 or part there off goes towards a day stay and a massage. CAN I TRAVEL WITH A DOG/ PET?

Yes, you can travel with your dog/ pet as long as you have the following: A health certificate from your vet, and yes, the dog has to have a chip. After you get the health certificate you have to take this to a USDA office near you to have them stamp it. As long as the dog is under 20lbs and can fit under the seat in front of you, you should have no problems with the airline (please verify with your airline, as every airline might have different requirements). Once you have the health certificate stamped, send an emailed copy to vetservice@despa.gov.aw and also forward a copy to vetservice@aruba.gov.aw. Usually they check the documents and reply by next business day. They in turn will put an Aruba stamp so that when you get to customs in Aruba they can let you through. We carry 2 sets of documents usually, 1 for entry in Aruba and 1 for departure through U.S. customs (U.S. customs is also done in Aruba at the departure point). Here is the phone number for Aruba Dept. of Agriculture in case you need more information +297 585-0400.
